A few years ago, I found myself in the depths of burnout, going through the daily of motions of life. I know now my nervous system was on overload from years of pressure, stress, anxiety, and pushing through.
During my recovery, I learned the value of the Pause. In my search for ways to slow down, reconnect, and understand my Self differently, I discovered Reiki. What began as curiosity became a deeper exploration of practices that invite us to pay attention — to the body, to intuition, and to the parts of ourselves that so easily get lost in the noise of everyday life.
Today, pause practices that help keep me grounded are Reiki for embodiment, Tarot as a tool for reflection, and meditation for a deeper connection to intuition.
In spring 2026, I completed my Level I and Level II Reiki training through Duke Health under Deborah Dixon, a Reiki Master Teacher with more than 20 years of experience in the Usui lineage.
I now offer Reiki as a space for others to pause, reflect, and reconnect in their own way. Pause before you need to hit the eject button. Pause to understand what you need.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You just have to make a little room to hear your Self.
